| Let us present to you a different face of Bucharest. Capital of the Socialist Republic of Romania for almost half of century, our city-otherwise known as "Little Paris"- is still struggling on its way to capitalism and true democracy. We will tour the city, pointing the remains of the "Golden Era", while we will lecture you about the good and many bad things that happened during the rule of Ceausescu. For many years, the dictator kept the Romanian people in darkness and desolation. The Revolution in December 1989 ended the suppression and took Romania into a transition period. Nowadays, our country is a proud member of the European Union, and acknowledging our history, we are building a better future. Together we will visit the "People`s House", known as the second largest building in the world, and the burial place of Ceausescu, trying to find out if the communism is gone for good or not...
